Strategy Workshops address company-wide topics of branding and positioning or function-specific topics such as partner programs, distribution and selling, community engagement, customer support and others.  Branding and positioning workshops typically come first, setting the stage for follow-on function focused sessions. 

Workshops use well-tested approaches and an agenda derived from experience.  These differ from facilitated executive team meetings where the agenda may accommodate specific operations issues or participant concerns.  Workshops reveal and clarify the group’s common purpose and assets in relationship to the strategy being designed. They help teams develop agreement and understanding of the topic, roles and responsibilities and market approaches. 

By design, a workshop encourages the collective wisdom of the group to emerge.  We employ creative dialog processes, combine structured and unstructured conversations, facilitate cross-function collaborations and respect the contributions of every participant.  Group creativity and engagement are heightened in workshop settings.   

A workshop is valuable during times of change as teams or conditions shift.   Its result may be a simple re-affirmation of the directions already under way, in which case the team moves forward with greater confidence.  It may also reveal challenges and surface unconventional yet workable solutions to them.  In all workshops, the group identifies next steps for team members and sets time and performance objectives for this work.
